Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Glimzo website, web application, merchant tools, APIs, and associated mobile services operated under the Glimzo brand (“Glimzo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using Glimzo, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Glimzo & Core Loop

Glimzo is a real-world local discovery and connection platform engineered to answer one simple question: “What is happening around me that I might want to go to?”

Our platform empowers users to discover nearby businesses, shops, restaurants, workshops, pop-ups, events, and community activities, as well as create user-initiated plans and meetups. Glimzo is an offline action platform, not an engagement-loop social network.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 18 years of age if creating a business or merchant account) to use Glimzo. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that all information you submit is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify Glimzo immediately upon suspecting any unauthorized access or security breach.

3. Acceptable Use & Platform Rules

You agree not to use Glimzo to:

Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
Publish false, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, or misleading business listings, reviews, or event details.
Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate any user or merchant.
Scrape, crawl, or extract automated data from Glimzo outside of authorized public search engine indexing.
Attempt to bypass authentication, reverse-engineer proprietary algorithms, or compromise system infrastructure.

4. Merchant Terms, Listings & Deal Obligations

For businesses, venues, and organizers listing on Glimzo:

A. Accuracy: Merchants are solely responsible for ensuring that operating hours, addresses, contact details, pricing, discount percentages, and event schedules are accurate and legally compliant.

B. Honoring Offers: Any active deal, promotion, voucher, or discount code displayed on a verified store listing must be honored in good faith for customers presenting the offer within the validity window.

C. Verification & Store Claims: Glimzo reserves the right to require documentation (GST, business registration, or utility proof) before approving store ownership claims or campaign activations.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Refund Policy

Subscription Billing Rules

Merchant plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) and featured placements are billed on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annually) processed securely via Razorpay.

Auto-Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date via your merchant billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Refund Policy: Payments for digital subscriptions, featured city placements, and promotional campaign slots are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced. In cases of verifiable technical billing error or duplicate charges, refund requests submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the charge will be reviewed and refunded pro-rata where appropriate.

6. Real-World Activities & Disclaimer of Liability

Important Safety & Activity Disclaimer

Glimzo provides digital discovery tools to facilitate real-world connections and local commerce. Glimzo does not supervise, vet, or inspect physical premises, merchant food safety, outdoor conditions, sports equipment, or individual behavior at in-person meetups or events.

Users and merchants engage in offline activities at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glimzo disclaims all liability for physical injuries, illness, property loss, or damages arising from in-person meetings, deals, or transactions between users and third-party businesses.

7. Content Moderation & Termination

We reserve the right to review, moderate, unpublish, or permanently remove any campaign, store profile, or user-created activity that violates our community guidelines or applicable laws.

We may suspend or terminate user or business accounts immediately upon material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or repeated copyright/fraud reports.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of Glimzo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
